This painting took several months to complete, using multiple layers of acrylic and drips to create subtleties in the work, followed by oil paint layers to deepen and enrich the colours and create a beautiful sense of depth.
 
Swan Magic is inspired by the art of noticing magical little things in nature such as the way the water sparkles on sunny days and the tranquility of a flock of swans floating by. I've spent a large amount of my life on the river and have always thought swans incredibly beautiful.
